Sleep support. After abdominoplasty, surgeons generally advise their patients to sleep in a 'crooked’ position over a 6 week period. To achieve this, your torso needs to be elevated and your knees need to be bent towards the ceiling. The memory foam wedge pillow within our abdominoplasty packages provides premium comfort whilst sleeping in an elevating position. Zip-off washable cover included (navy). Have extra regular pillows from home handy to prop under your knees. Always follow your surgeon’s advice.

The neck pillow included in our premium abdominoplasty aftercare package makes the ‘crooked’ sleeping position more comfortable by offering head support, plus prevents neck strain and provides comfort as you rest in bed during the day.

Cold Packs Apply our plush, reusable cool packs to reduce pain, bruising & swelling. Apply ice around the area, but not directly over your incisions. Ice for 10 minutes at a time. Wait 20 minutes before reapplying. The plush side icepacks are designed to be applied directly to the skin, but wrap in a towel if too sensitive. Stop using icepacks if irritation occurs. Always follow your surgeon’s advice.

If you have had fat grafting as part of your procedure, DO NOT apply ice around area in which it was added. Instead, our cold packs can be applied around your fat harvesting area (e.g. stomach or inner thighs). You can also apply our cold packs to liposuction areas.

Soothing heat pack. Enjoy a calming lavender scent wheat pack to provide extra comfort to your muscles, especially your back & neck, as you rest and recover from your breast augmentation. We stock these heat packs to support another Australian small business. DO NOT use over surgical incisions or fat grafting areas. Always follow your surgeon’s advice.

How To Use

Put your wheatbag in the microwave on high for 2 minutes. We don’t recommend heating them for more than 2 and half minutes as they become too hot to put comfortably on your skin. Keep in mind wheatbags may not feel very warm when you first remove them from the microwave as the heat is concentrated in the middle of the bag. Give it a shake and it will start to feel warmer!

Then place on areas of soreness or aching. Allow time for the heat to gently seep into the muscles or sore area.

The heatpack will last between 30-45 min depending on the surrounding air temperature.

Wheatbags also make great cold packs. Place in the freezer for at least 30min until it’s cold. Don’t worry it won’t freeze as there’s no water content! You can even store it in there so it’s always ready. Keep it in a freezer safe container.

Feel fresh as a daisy. You will not be able to shower for about 3 days after abdominoplasty, depending on your surgeon’s protocol. Stay fresh with a facial wipes package and 3 x individually wrapped, soft, waterless Shower Sheets that instantly cleanse, refresh, and deodorize. Both products are non-aerosol to prevent a headache and/or asthma sensitivity, as well as chalky fallout. We include full-size versions of our high-quality dry shampoo and deodorant products to offer you the best value for money.

Hydration is essential post-surgery. Hydrate to best recover from anaesthetic, support healing, and minimise constipation from pain medication. Due to anaesthetic, pain medications, bed rest, and altered eating patterns, constipation is an inevitable part of surgical recovery. For this reason, the pharmacist & surgeon recommended post-surgical laxative is included within your recovery package (Coloxyl with Senna - 30 tablets). Although Coloxyl with Senna is the recommended post-surgical medication to prevent constipation, we can arrange to swap this with Movicol upon request. Always follow medical advice.
